Former Vice President Al Gore will take the stage at this year’s “National Clean Energy Summit 9.0: Integrating Innovation” (NCES 9.0) to further the clean energy conversation and discuss the importance of fighting climate change in a keynote address on Friday, Oct. 13 at Bellagio Las Vegas.
A keynote speaker at the second National Clean Energy Summit in 2009, Gore returns to join a diverse lineup of speakers and panelists curated by Summit co-hosts former Senator Harry Reid and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, which will also feature a panel of governors moderated by Governor Sandoval focusing on how state and local governments have led the way on clean energy solutions to benefit the public.
The recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for “informing the world of the dangers posed by climate change,” Al Gore has been a driving force in the clean energy space. He has brought millions of people together through his nonprofit, The Climate Reality Project, to spread awareness of both the ongoing dangers posed by global warming and the available solutions to climate change.
