AET (Applied Energy Technologies), a supplier of utility-scale racking systems, announced that it has entered the South American market. Following a rigorous bidding and vetting process, its Rayport-G ECO was recently selected for a 5MW solar plant on a unique site in South America.
In addition, the company announced that has received UL listing (to UL 2703, Issue 2) on its Rayport-G ECO ground mount system. AET reports that the Rayport-G ECO is rapidly becoming an industry standard for developers and Engineering Procurement and Construction contractors (EPCs) looking for a ground mounting system that is easy to install, scalable and available at a competitive price point.
In achieving its UL 2703 listing, the Rayport-G ECO has met strict industry standards for durability and electrical safety, and has undergone rigorous atmospheric and corrosion testing, including temperature and humidity cycling tests, and bonding path resistance tests. The Rayport-G ECO has been engineered to withstand the most challenging environmental conditions and fits all solar panels available on the market today. It is galvanized throughout for corrosion resistance and offers a single point connection to the system ground.
