California-based Lite Solar, a renewable energy installer, has closed a strategic alliance with Aztec Solar Power, based in Pennsylvania, involving US $50 million in commercial installations on the East Coast through its Life Boat Program.
Lite Solar’s Life Boat Program assists other solar installers in safe harboring and completing solar projects threatened by the expiration of solar grants provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Lite Solar CEO R. Sahni says his company plans to install US $1 billion of solar over the next 10 months.
