RenewSys is a manufacturer of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) encapsulant used in photovoltaic (PV) solar modules. It is the renewable energy division of Positive Packaging Industries Ltd.
Positive Packaging has operations in India, Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is a part of the Enpee Group, an international conglomerate with more than 50 years of business experience. The group's diversified activities include electrical cables, adhesives and inks, metal packaging, cement and industrial flooring.
RenewSys started production of Conserv EVA Encapsulant at its Bangalore, India facility in March 2012. The manufacturing process uses proven German technology. The product is under evaluation at TÜV and has already been tested and found to be in compliance with Underwriters Laboratories requirements (subject to Initial Production Inspection).
Conserv EVA Encapsulant is manufactured combining knowledge of material science with special OS manufacturing technology, which enables Conserv to have no induced stresses and thermal memory resulting in extremely low thermal shrinkage. The uniquely formulated Conserv Encapsulant melts at a relatively lower temperature making the lamination process easy to handle, energy efficient and productive. Conserv has a special surface texture that enables it to be shipped and stored without masking film.
Conserv A 360-14 FC is a fast-curing, ultraviolet (UV) and weather-stable EVA Encapsulant having UV cut-off wavelength at 360 nanometres (nm). It can be used for all crystalline silicon and many thin-film-based module constructions.
You can visit RenewSys at Intersolar North America 2012 on 10-12 July at the Moscone Center (booth 5679) in San Francisco, California (US).
