Atlas Material Testing Technology's Suntest XXL+Weathering technology and services company Atlas Material Testing Technology has announced it will exhibit at the 27th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Exhibition 25-28 September in Frankfurt, Germany (hall 3.1, booth H37).

Atlas will present a variety of products and services that support companies involved in every aspect of the PV value chain, including PV modules and components manufacturers, project development, finance and investment companies as well as research and testing institutes.

Atlas will showcase the following:

  • Suntest XXL+ (pictured): Atlas’ largest flatbed xenon instrument for crystalline and thin-film mini modules, as well as components and materials used in solar applications.
  • SolarTest 1200: Portable laboratory device that tests small-sized samples, i.e. photovoltaic cells or components composed of different materials, such as plastics etc. It supplies a spectral distribution similar to global radiation at air mass 1.5.
  • XenoCal Solar Sensor: This sensor is designed for easy and accurate measurement and calibration of a variety of light sources used in UV-preconditioning tests (in accordance with IEC 61215 & IEC 61646).

Visitors to the booth also can receive information about the new Atlas-SGS alliance for PV durability testing. This collaboration allows Atlas and SGS customers to obtain both the recognized Atlas 25+ PV durability testing and certification of the test results from SGS from a single source.
