Renewable Energy Corporation (REC), a global manufacturer of solar modules, will present product innovations and technical achievements, as well as its REC Partner and Professional Programs at Solar Power International 2012 on 10-13 September at the Orange County Convention Centre (booth 2218) in Orlando, Florida (US).
REC will display its new concept study SmartFit Solution. Combining a frameless solar module with a mounting system, this new concept has been developed for faster installation times and lower balance-of-system (BOS) costs.
In addition to REC's SmartFit Solution, the company has improved cell and module performance, demonstrating its dedication to research and development (R&D) across the value chain. Recently, a significant drop in the nominal operating cell temperature (NOCT) value for the REC Peak Energy module was announced on the California Energy Commission (CEC) website: from 47.9°C (~118°F) to 45.7°C (~114°F). This lower NOCT also helped to give REC a Photovoltaics for Utility-Scale Applications (PV-USA or PVUSA) Test Conditions (PTC) rating with the CEC and makes it easier to see the benefits of REC modules and plan the best-performing solar energy system.
REC's focus extends beyond providing quality solar products and solutions to establishing quality partnerships. Recently launched in the US, the REC Professional Program will be presented at SPI 2012, introducing installers to the benefits of REC's certification, including marketing support and warranty extension. With the REC Partner Program, REC helps distributors and large installers to achieve their business objectives through intensive training programs and advanced sales and marketing cooperation.
