Intersolar Europe 2013: Soleos Solar debuts high-performance solar module

Soleos Solar is launching a new solar module in June and will show it at Intersolar Europe 2013. The polycrystalline Soleos 250P module is manufactured in Europe and has a rated output of 250 watts and a module efficiency of 14.94%. It thus produces more output and has a greater degree of efficiency than its predecessors.
Hanwha Q CELLS "Made in EU" Certified

Hanwha Q CELLS, a Germany-based photovoltaic company, has now received the French "Made in EU" certificate for the manufacturing of both solar cells and solar modules from purely European components. The certificate will enable French customers of Q CELLS PV products to get a bonus on the French Feed-in-Tariff of up to 10% with immediate effect.

The five-day conference is organised ty the 3-day trade fair 01 to 03 October 2013. Abstracts for presentation at the conference will be received until this Friday, 1 March 2013.

Banks Support RE Projects in France’s Centre Region

Supporting renewable energy generation and the energy refurbishment of buildings while meeting the financing needs of project promoters throughout the region – this is the aim of a financing agreement totaling 300 million Euros signed by France’s Centre Region and the European Investment Bank (EIB) in July, in partnership with Banque Populaire Val de France et Caisse d’Epargne (BPCE Group) and Crédit Agricole. The program is unique in France both in terms of the range of energy forms involved (solar, wind, biomass, biogas, geothermal) and the diversity of the projects targeted – to which actions to improve the energy performance of buildings can be added, as well.
Heliotrop Clients Win Hybrid CPV/PV Solar Plants

The French Ministry of Energy and Environment today published the results of the Commission de Régulation de l'Energie (CRE) photovoltaic (PV) tender offer. Customers of Heliotrop's 1024-sun CPV company have been awarded power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 29 megawatts (MW) out of a total of 50MW of hybrid power plants to be built between 2012 and 2014. Hybrid power plants combine traditional PV with at least 30% CPV, allowing a side-by-side comparison of technologies along with more accessible project finance.
CentroSolar Contracts for Large PV Project in France

The CentroSolar Group subsidiary, CentroSolar France, is the main supplier for a large-scale solar project in the Seine Maritime department in Northern France. On behalf of EDF Optimal Solutions, subsidiary of the state electricity company EDF, roof-integrated solar systems with a combined output of 3.7 megawatts-peak (MWp) are being installed on 190 roofs belonging to housing developer Habitat 76.
