The Green Power Mini MBA - South America

POSTED IN Events Calendar

The Green Power Mini MBA is the Green Power Academy's premium 5-day Business School for Renewable Energy focusing on the technology, markets, commercialisation, planning, finance & strategy.

The popularity of this course - and the reason so many attend by way of past-attendee recommendations - is driven by the manner in which it paints a hype-free, independent picture of renewable energy as a set of industries within the wider markets of energy and finance.

Through both presented materials, interactive discussions and group-based working, you will leave with a comprehensive picture of how neither technology, finance, policy nor resource availability alone can create a renewable energy revolution. Instead you will learn and model how all must work together, along with a variety of other considerations, to create a sustainable, affordable and deliverable low-carbon energy world.

Solar in Mexico: High intensity potential

Zacatec airportSignificant attention has been focused on the solar market in Mexico of late.  Projections have been for huge solar farms, rapid growth…. basically a gold rush for solar rays.  All of this may be true, but new market development, which is not fueled by government incentives such as feed in tariffs and the like, is very likely to develop at a pace that is less predictable and faced by challenges that are not yet understood.  In the long run, these unsubsidized markets are more sustainable and predictable however.  No doubt the opportunity in Mexico is real and significant; how to capitalize on it is the key.
