SunLink today announced its complete line of roof and ground mount solar racking systems has been certified by ETL as conforming to the integrated grounding and bonding requirements of UL Subject 2703.
This full-system certification means SunLink’s products require fewer grounding lugs than other mounting systems: one grounding lug per continuous section of the solar array.

QBotix today announced the QBotix Tracking System (QTS), a dual-axis tracking system that employs rugged, intelligent and mobile robots to dynamically operate solar power plants and maximize energy output. QBotix will exhibit at Solar Power International 2012.

Kaco New Energy, a large solar inverter manufacturer with more than 5 gigawatts (GW) of photovoltaic (PV) inverters in the field, today announced the availability of solar PV inverters with Ampt Mode to reduce the cost of commercial and utility-scale PV systems when deployed with direct current (DC) optimisers from Ampt. Kaco’s inverters in Ampt Mode operate at up to 80% higher output power and dissipate less power per kilowatt (kW) than the same inverter in a normal mode.
