Solar Panel Cleaning Robot at IT Tradeshow

SolarbrushSolarbrush, a robot that cleans solar panels, is among the finalists of the Code N-Award, which will be presented at the IT-tradeshow CeBIT on 7 March in Hannover, Germany. The company, along with five other startups, will exhibit the prototype at the CeBIT opening today.

EU PVSEC 2013: Call for papers

EU PVSEC 2012The European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) 2013 has issued a call for papers, and announced all papers published in the EU PVSEC conference proceedings are now available for download without extra costs six months after publication.

Abstracts may be submitted until 1 March.

This week during PV America East in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (US), SEIA and SEPA announced its awards, with three going to groSolar projects. The three projects, Longwood Gardens, Keystone Solar, and Camden Solar Center, were completed in 2012 and provide approximately 10MW of solar capacity.

Mount St. Mary's University solar farmThe Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) have announced the three winners of the 2013 Photovoltaic Projects of Distinction Awards at PV America East 2013. The Generating Clean Horizons Solar Project, Keystone Solar and the Union County, New Jersey Solar Initiative won the awards.

For the first time, nine projects were awarded honorable mentions in recognition of their impressive accomplishments.
