Team_Mass_House_in_Solar_Decathlon_2011The US Department of Energy awards each team in the Solar Decathlon $100,000 to help with their project, but the rest of the money comes from fundraising and sponsors. Many sponsors help to defray actual cost with donations of time, products, equipment and services. What better place to make an impression than by having products on display (and in use) by the teams competing in the Solar Decathlon.
