Mission Solar Energy, a US manufacturer of high-power solar modules, has supplied modules for a 790 kilowatt solar installation throughout four buildings at United States Army Fort Lesley McNair in Washington, D.C. The project was designed and installed by Suntrail Energy and John E. Kelly & Sons Electrical Construction, Inc., providers of solar services for government and commercial solar projects within the Mid-Atlantic region.
Ft. McNair is home to the National Defense University, a US Department of Defense-funded institution that facilitates high-level training, education, and the development of national security strategy. Mission Solar Energy’s MSE PERC 72 modules were used to power the historic facility. The PERC 72 modules are Buy American Act (BAA) compliant and manufactured at Mission Solar Energy’s headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.
