SolSmart: Steps Toward Community Solar Designation -- Tuesday, 11 July, 2:00-3:45 p.m. Led by The Solar Foundation, SolSmart is a national solar designation and technical assistance program that is helping hundreds of communities nationwide reduce solar soft costs and spur local solar development. We are constantly looking to improve SolSmart and ensure that it addresses the most salient costs and barriers faced by solar companies today.
Solar Foundation will present a brief overview of SolSmart and then offer attendees the opportunity to shape the program by providing feedback on its designation criteria.
Summer Solar Job Fair -- Wednesday, 12 July, 1:00-5:00 p.m. The Solar Training Network, a program led by The Solar Foundation, is partnering with GRID Alternatives to host a solar job fair! Just across the street from Intersolar at the Pacific Energy Center, job seekers can meet face-to-face with 20+ solar employers, followed by a happy hour networking session at 5 p.m. Registration is still open
Fundraiser: Phase Two of A Renewable America. The Solar Foundation is co-hosting a fundraising event on Wednesday, 12 July at 5:00 p.m. on the economic and jobs benefits of solar and wind.
