Product Announcements: More than monitoring
Draker has recently released a range of cost-effective software and hardware solutions. Announcing Draker V7, Draker’s latest software update with increased adaptability to the needs of utility-scale projects. Designed for monitoring, managing and controlling PV assets, Draker V7 affordably offers remote shutdown and power controls, advanced reporting, hierarchical alarm, real-time performance dashboards and growing analytics database.
Draker also announced increased telecom capabilities, including integration of monitoring and analytics with SCADA, for existing base stations: Draker PV2000 for both commercial and utility-scale applications and Draker PV4000 for commercial projects.
PV portfolio grows with Green States Energy acquisition
Draker's holding company, Sydney-based BlueNRGY Group, announced on August 22 the acquisition of New Jersey-based Green States Energy – a PV owner with generation capacity of 18.7 MWp and a project pipeline totaling over 100MW. This solar portfolio will benefit from Draker’s asset management software and hardware offerings.
Collaborating with regional leadership on energy markets
Draker was one of three Vermont companies chosen to attend the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers’ Annual Conference from August 27 to 29. The event deepened Draker’s ties with growing regional energy leadership across the United States and Canada. The Burlington-based Draker team – with an existing, strong relationship with the Vermont Department of Economic Development – continues to take a leadership position in key policy discussions that are shaping regional solar policy.
