Smart Energy Microgrid

Solar Power International’s Smart Energy Microgrid Marketplace heads to Las Vegas, Nevada (US) for CES 2018, from January 9-12. Aligning with the show’s vision to showcase the connected future of technology, the Smart Energy Microgrid Marketplace will offer attendees the opportunity to see how the integration of solar, storage, and smart technologies are moving the industry forward.

With more than 4,000 exhibiting companies and exhibit space of more than 2.6 million net square feet, CES has been recognized as the largest global gathering of innovation. The marketplace is expected to be showcased in front of more than 180,000 industry professionals.

Earlier this year, the Smart Energy Microgrid Marketplace was awarded Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100 Grand Award for “Best Use of Technology,” after its debut in 2016.  This year’s microgrid featured a bigger and better display right on the show floor – just one of the changes this year. SPI hosted an even more robust educational program, bolstered by the co-location of Energy Storage International (ESI), Hydrogen + Fuel Cells North America, and The Technical Symposium. The event welcomed 20,000 attendees and over 700 exhibitors to Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

SPI and ESI, powered by Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), are the only industry trade shows where every dollar of revenue goes back to supporting the industry’s growth through SEPA’s and SEIA’s research and education, as well as SEIA’s advocacy efforts.

Next year’s SPI and ESI returns to the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California (US) on September 24-27 and will once again connect all cross-sections of the global solar industry.
