SolarMax, a Swiss based global pure-play photovoltaic (PV) inverter company with US headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia (US) and more than 20 years of PV inverter experience, announced today that Alan Beale, general manager, Solarmax USA, Inc. has been named to the board of the Georgia Solar Energy Association (GSEA).
As a newly appointed board member, Alan Beale’s responsibilities include promoting the economic and environmental benefits of solar energy throughout Georgia. As an experienced and well-connected industry executive, Beale will advise the board on industry technology advancements and business best practices to help steer decisions that will help the industry grow throughout the region.
A high-tech and PV solar industry veteran, Alan Beale, heads SolarMax’s US office and leading sales, marketing and growth in the US market. Beale came to SolarMax from Refusol, where he was vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to that, Alan has led a long career in technology including executive leadership roles at Canesta, Immersion Corporation, SGI and General Electric.
The Georgia Solar Energy Association, comprised of leading experts in solar manufacturing and installation, academia, finance, and the law is leading the effort in Georgia to promote the economic and environmental benefits of solar energy through education, advocacy and industry support.
